The cupping is an ancient technique that, over the centuries, has been able to renew and perfect itself so much that, used already in the days of Hippocrates and then by the Chinese, is today inserted as a practice to regenerate the body in some Spas.
It consists of the application on the skin of the treated person of cups similar to yogurt jars or glass cups, bamboo or ceramic creating a “windy” effect that holds the container glued to the body. The application can last from 5 to 20 minutes and results in an alteration of the body’s energy flows by stimulating blood and lymph circulation.
The cupping can therefore be considered a “reflex-stimulating” therapy because it exploits the principles of traditional Chinese medicine by acting on the so-called reflected zones. It can restore balance and restore the function of the organ or the disharmony apparatus.
